Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai called on President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav today. During the meeting held at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas, matters relating to the contemporary political situation in the country were discussed. According to press advisor to the Prime Minister, Prashant Lamichhane, the Prime Minister visited the President in connection with regular visit.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai familiarized President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav about the United Nations Convention on Environment and Sustainable Development that was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on June 20-22 and about the meetings that he had with heads of the state and government of different countries on the sidelines of the Convention, it is learnt.
